Exploring the Maryvale Stadium Complex
This is the spring traing facility for the Milwaukee Brewers and has been since it opened in 1998. The stadium seats 7,000 people. There is also a minor league training facility and a number of practice fields.
The complex is in an urban setting bordered by Indian School, 51st Ave, Thomas Rd and 53rd Ave.
Making a loop all the way around the stadium will take you down an alley or through a busy shopping area on Indian School Rd. Retracing your steps after you pass Gate 3 is a good option since a wall blocks any views of the activity after you pass the fence near left field.
